Testimonials __________________________________________________________________________________________ After a few hours of wandering through the galleries and shops in downtown Santa Fe, my eye caught these fantastic bronzes in a shop window. I wasn't really in the market for any art work, but I couldn't resist taking a peak. After ooohing and ahhhing over several of Heidi's pieces, I found "Hope" and fell immediately in love. The day before, I had been painting (a healing hobby for me) and with no plan in mind for what I wanted to create...out comes a painting of a beautiful angel with her arms upraised. I'd actually been thinking quite a bit about the painting and how it made me feel, when I stumbled into the bronze version of my painting. I knew that whatever it took, I needed to have "Hope" in my house as an hourly reminder of how much God loves me and actually has a plan for my life. Today, as I passed "Hope" again, I knew I needed to write this letter and let Heidi know how much her creativity has inspired my life. I am blessed to have had Heidi create a "heart Path" angel for me. Heart Path has truly worked miracles in my life and others. Her beauty is beyond simple words. Heidi's intention and her creation of each angel have the essence of each individual brought into the particular angel she is working on. Heart Path is alive in my heart and brings me much joy. She is very powerful. Heart Path holds compassion, strength, courage, forgiveness, and happiness. Her presence among difficult situations brings a peace and serenity that has never been experienced before. For example, Heart Path's presence when my elderly mother recently had surgery on her tongue for cancer was very instrumental in her recovery. Heart Path also provided me the strength in assisting my mother in her recovery process. I brought Heart Path with me to my mother's home to bring her positive and healing energy as my mother recovered from this very painful surgery. Heart Path's spirit and love brought my mother and me much comfort and strength during this time period. She helped my mother during this difficult time and as she healed from her surgery, she would walk past Heart Path and give Heart Path a kiss knowing that her presence helped her to be courageous and to recover even faster. Heart Path's essence is continuing to help me in my journey of self discovery and joy. I recently acquired a second angel, Metamorphosis. She will be gifted to my sister who is an Oncology Surgeon that specializes in breast cancer patients. She is planning on opening a new center for her patients and has decided to call it" The Chrysalis" with the intention of helping her patients know that breast cancer can have a positive metamorphic change in one's life. ( I know this to be true since I had breast cancer and was diagnosed by my sister). The Metamorphosis angel has a simple but powerful beauty with a single butterfly that symbolizes this transformation. My sister's's gentleness in caring for her cancer patients with love and compassion will be symbolize through the angel of Metamorphosis. I I know that the angel will help in healing of all the cancer patients that grace my sister new center. ~ Shirley Barnett __________________________________________________________________________________________ Three of Heidi's angels have found a place in my home and have been a personal blessing to my husband and me. My husband is an avid art collector and has collected many pieces over the years. Heidi's angels, however, are unique. Rather than just another beautiful piece of artwork, these are truly sacred art. They embody and hold the energy of spiritual and healing ideals. Heidi Kujat's angels are a special work of sacred art because from the beginning of their creation, which begins in the imagination and heart, to the finished piece, Heidi gives completely of herself to understand and incorporate the principle she intends to illustrate with her work. Each piece created holds a specific spiritual intention. She works at a high spiritual level to infuse each piece with the energy of a spiritual gift, ideal or intention, such as love, hope forgiveness, etc. As a result, the pieces themselves reflect the energy and spiritual work that she has invested in creation them. Because of this they add a beautiful presence that is a blessing to anyone that stops to enjoy them and takes the time to listen to their message of hope, healing, and love. ~Julie Smith __________________________________________________________________________________________ Lady Tamarac It has been so fulfilling for me to see the impact this sculpture, now named Lady Tamarac, has on the people who enter our spa. The spa is part of our new medical wellness facility named Tamarac. When I first saw Heidi’s work I knew one of her angels needed to be in our facility. I watch people as they enter the spa and first view her actually relax. They are pulled to her and most feel the need to touch her. Her intention in the spa is to ground the space to help people center as they sit in our meditation area. I have entered the spa area to see people sitting at peace, captured by her beauty. It has been one of the most inspirational and rewarding experiences of my career. That is the nature of Sacred Art. Through the artist's vision, her unwaivering alignment with God's Truth, each sculpture is refined to a degree of purity that is the God essence of the state depicted and the work is imbued with the power of this process. Each piece , each figure speaks a line in a prayer to God, and then holds the supplication in the grace of it's presesnce. And the figures together turn to God in a prayer of Harmony and Oneness, yet it is a prayer that has already been answered. The figures transcend the words of the prayer they speak for they also carry the answer to the prayer as the response from God. There is a seeking and a receiving already complete within them. They embody the flow of Divine energy in this connecton with God and they draw the viewer into this connection and into this energy. To view the works, to receive what they have to give is to be both inspired and blessed ~to receive inspiration from the works and to receive a blessing from God this is Sacred Art. Over two years ago, while visiting Santa Fe, I was flipping through the Santa Fe Art Catalogue and was drawn over and over again to Freedom – by Kujat. Normally we sightsee and enjoy the scenery – yet every night Freedom by Kujat called to me. So out of character for me (and especially for my husband if you got to know him) I called the number for the Corazon Gallery hoping that it was near by and we could just stop by the see her work. First call I had to leave a message, Heidi called us back and we played telephone tag for at least a day. Finally our last day in Santa Fe we connected and Heidi made a special trip to the gallery for us. I felt awkward but the instant I met Heidi and walked into the gallery there was an instant connection. Every piece she made spoke to me and displayed such grace, spirituality and serenity. I wanted them all! Alas I left town empty handed with only pictures of her creations and her phone number. Heidi and I stayed in touch. I guess we could tell that we were both once wounded souls on the road to healing. We gave each other hope. Somehow to me, Heidi’s work embodies the experience of having gotten through our many life trials – being on the other side of all that ailed us. I finally broke down and asked her to design a piece for me. What a double gift for me… this gave us the excuse to talk regularly and for me to now live among her beautiful creation TRIUMPH. I had no ideas what I wanted other than Heidi’s creative spirit. She’d ask me how I wanted her hair and I would respond how are you seeing her. There was not rush on either of our parts to get it done. We talked about trees, what was going on with us, what gifts I wanted in the future… you name it. Triumph was a creation from an extremely talented individual – Heidi Kujat. By leaving it to the process I believe I got not only perfection in bronze but also a large part of the spirit, grace and friendship that makes up Heidi. I’d like to think that my experience is the exception – but I know all too well that Heidi shares her gift with many. I’ve learned along the way - to my amazement - that the tree goddesses do not appeal to everyone. Some come looking for that perfect piece that matches the sofa or the wall coloring. Heidi’s work matches our souls. So, if you see the gift, grab onto it because Triumph to me is truly a state of happiness, a celebration, great joy and pride. To me, this amazing Tree Goddess sculpture is the Earth Mother herself! She passionately expresses the pure joy in simply being. I AM LIFE is what she says to me.... I AM YOU! She encourages me to feel and express my joy wholeheartedly. I love to run my hands over feeling her shape and texture and study different the brown, green and copper colours that give the "gown" of the tree such character. She has the most extravagant head of hair seems to say DARE! Dare to be you true self! Dare to live life fully! The outstretched arms seem to say Reach out. Stretch yourself. Embrace all that is. Live! Live! Pure Joy is the centre piece in my jewellery and art gallery. Her commanding presence draws many visitors. Her 'gift' is one-of-a-kind and amazing. The entire process from first entering her gallery, Corazon in Santa Fe, to researching her work & then speaking with her on the phone - made me realize I must have a Tree Goddess commissioned. As my Husband said, this was a mission for me, 'you were going to have a Tree Goddess one way or another' - and he was absolutely correct. The process was unbelievable. The experience of being in the presence of such beauty and grace spoke to me of what ‘healing spaces’ must be.I have been blessed with the gift of the angel ‘Metamorphosis’. She is overflowing with the energy of transformation and ‘becoming’ and she has become my spiritual companion in meditation and prayer. She has accompanied me in my work creating renewal retreats for staff in healthcare. People are drawn to her beauty and the wonderful healing space she creates with her presence.
